Self-Love, Sunlight, and Spotify 💖
Prioritizing yourself and your needs
Good morning,
After weeks of grey skies, it’s been really nice to see the sun out more recently. I’ve been trying to embrace this weather by going on walks to get fresh air and sunlight. Our moods can be greatly impacted by the weather and I’ve noticed that the increased brightness has me feeling more positive and energized. The winter months can be challenging for so many of us, so I hope you’re able to make time for things that make you feel good…and try to get outside when you can, even if it’s just for a few minutes!

Baltimore looking beautiful on my walk this past weekend ☀️
Have a great weekend!
All the best,
Mandy

Self-love is a popular term that we hear often and you might be wondering what does it actually mean and how do you practice it? If so, you’re not alone since there are many layers to it. Matching Your Mood to Your Spotify Daylist
🎧💖 🎶
Music is universal and often fosters a sense of connection to others. It’s one of my favorite coping skills because no matter how you’re feeling, there’s usually a song or genre that matches it. Music can also invoke different emotions and bring you back to certain moments in your life. Whether you’re a big music listener or not, it’s hard to deny the impact music has on our lives and well-being. Speaking of this, I’m late to the game and recently discovered that Spotify has a feature that creates daily playlists for listeners.
Your ‘daylist’ combines your niche music taste and genres you typically listen to during certain times of the day. I love listening to music that matches my mood and the daylist has been great since it personalizes it for me and updates daily. Emotions can be challenging to manage and understand, and music is a great expressive outlet for so many of us. If you’re a Spotify listener or want to try this feature, I hope you enjoy it and find it to be useful!
